We have lodging on and near the Frio River, with some cabins having private access to a wonderful riverside park. All of our rentals are air-conditioned, fully furnished, and within minutes of cool, refreshing fun. We can accommodate up to twenty guests, depending on the cabin you choose. The Frio Canyon in the beautiful Texas Hill Country offers numerous exciting and leisurely activities appealing to all ages. Summertime fun includes swimming, tubing, kayaking, and snorkeling in the Frio’s crystal clear waters. Then spend your evenings in one of our popular vacation homes, enjoying a barbecue meal, while watching the deer and other wildlife that abound in our area. Or maybe take the young folks to the always popular dance at Garner State Park. Horseback riding, hayrides, golfing, biking, hiking, or an evening trip to the Frio Bat Cave can be exciting venues to participate in while you visit Concan and the Frio Canyon. Concan is considered one of the best birding areas in Texas, where several hundred species of birds can be spotted throughout the year, including the endangered Golden-cheeked Warbler and Black-capped Vireo.

Come and stay at one of our Frio River area Texas vacation rental properties where fly fishing in the off season for native bass and perch can be rewarding, and definitely relaxing. The Frio Canyon and Uvalde, TX area are also popular destinations for bird and big game hunters alike. If you like scenic drives, old forts, museums, and antique shopping, our area is hard to beat! A day trip to Uvalde, Reagan Wells, Leakey, Rio Frio, Camp Wood, Utopia, Vanderpool, and Sabinal will fill your day (and probably your truck or SUV) with many memories, souvenirs and treasures. Old Mexico is within two hours of Concan at Acuna (Del Rio) or Piedras Negras (Eagle Pass), where dining and shopping can be a very memorable experience.
